LFFF Provides $1MM Loan to Tennessee Nature Academy for New Campus Development

February 7, 2025

We’re pleased to announce that Tennessee Nature Academy (TNA) has successfully closed on a $1MM loan from Level Field Facilities Fund to support the development of their permanent school campus in Nolensville, Tennessee!

This financing, provided in partnership with LISC, will enable TNA to complete design work and begin initial site preparation for their ambitious new campus, scheduled for delivery in summer 2026.

The new 23-acre campus will feature approximately 50,000 square feet of educational space specifically designed to enhance TNA’s innovative nature-based curriculum. This expansion represents a significant milestone in TNA’s growth journey, allowing them to increase their capacity to serve more than 650 students in grades 5-12.

“By partnering with LISC, we were able to structure a financing package that meets TNA’s precise needs during this critical pre-development phase,” said LFFF Co-Founder David Endhom. “This collaboration is exciting, and reflects our commitment to working alongside other community development financial institutions to create tailored solutions that help high-quality charter schools bring their unique visions to life.”

LFFF is particularly grateful for the leadership and vision of TNA’s Founder and Executive Director, Roy Renfro, whose dedication to innovative education has been instrumental in bringing this project to fruition.

As site work begins in the coming months, we look forward to sharing updates on TNA’s progress toward creating this unique educational environment. The new campus will not only serve as a home for TNA’s growing student population but will also stand as a model for how educational facilities can be designed to complement and enhance a school’s educational mission.

Congratulations to the entire Tennessee Nature Academy community on reaching this significant milestone!
